A life laid out.

entry picture

A life laid out.

All my life was laid out before them

Broken dreams and promises

Sacks full of garbage on the floor

Plates piled high

Cds naked, books half open

Letters unread, is this what happens to the dead?

A life laid out before ..

Like a bomb site they have to muscle through

These are the days without you

When it opened like a wet banger

The spark missing in my eye

Put a heavy plank before me

Only in the evening did I let them cry

As life passed out before me

With a lonely tear mirrored in the TV eye

The moments triggers your lovely faces

And I pass away with a smile

Are you dead and writing from the grave? I think it would read better if you started from a different perspective: 'all his / her life was laid out' etc.

I quite like the first half but get confused from your wet banger onwards. Eye, me, cry, me, eye? IMO of course. x
