When I meet her in the night.

When I meet her in the night

I had a date with silence last night, I remember what she said

She gently cuddled up to me then kissed me on the head.

She emptied thoughts out of my mind and poured herself inside

Then mercury that had set fast, slowly, began to glide.

No thoughts to fuel emotions and no actions from what’s felt

Then from the top she trickled down and shoulders start to melt.

She told me, if you’re really quiet, our hearts they do have voices

She told me if you listen well their words can guide our choices.

And as I lay there with her.  As she became part of me

All struggles I’d encountered then gave wave to letting be.

Then as she moved down to my chest a voice I knew so well

Found amplitude and gratitude and tales began to tell.

A bed time story from my heart of love and peace and joy

The man that silence kissed, he then transformed to little boy.

The boy he dreamt a dreamless sleep that only children know

That boy translated silence so the man in him could grow.

Charming and true in equal measure. Hence my
reply:
"There is something that is true
And in truth is easily said;
Silence - when it comes to you
Doesn't mean an empty head."

I am not totally sure about the (grammatical) sequence in the line...
"The man that silenced kissed, he then transformed to little boy" -
mainly the "silenced kissed" part. Can the two words work together like that when they are
individual actions in their own context or is
there a comma or other "interval" missing?
Just asking.
