They’ve said their farewells to the Tudor … and now Write Out Loud Wigan has moved on, to its new home at the Bailiff’s Bar, The Old Courts, in Crawford Street, Wigan. It’s a night of Christmas poetry on Thursday 11 December, starting at 8.30pm, with prizes, novelty hats, music and mince pies. Organiser John Togher said: “The room is intimate and the feedback after last month's event was fantastic.” Entry is free to this open mic event, and comperes are Joy France and Dominic Simpson.
