entry picture

A night of poetry that is part of Unlimited, a festival that celebrates the artistic vision and originality of disabled artists, will be staged in the Poetry Library at London’s Southbank Centre on Wednesday 3 September. Disability Arts Online, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and Survivors’ Poetry, an organisation created by and for survivors of mental distress, are getting together to highlight the creativity within survivor culture in Perceptions of Difference at 8pm. Debjani Chatterjee, Hilary Porter, Frank Bangay and John O'Donoghue will be reading selections of poetry. The event is free but booking is essential. Email specialedition@poetrylibrary.org.uk.
