April Collage Poem

entry picture

Flowers of colour under summer blue

Daisy chains bind maidens tight

Bluebells ring out their charming spell

The river's reflection may not be

what you want to see

The seasons shout hello but whisper goodbye

Spring colours into life; grey memories, white swans

neglected lighthouses

forgotten

I would like to wish you all well

as I can't think of anything to write

The river asks me to jump

and invites me with its charm

of uneasy tension.

Let me yield to this

subconscious impulse.

A swinging bridge of only one rope
wild river taunts my vulnerable self control one slip the white foam waits below
reaching out hanging on not letting go.

Yes,I agree. It seems natural and yet it is a poem,,, which will favour time spent musing on it

I loved your writing style in this poem. It made me feel like you were speaking to me rather than writing. Also, your description created great images of rivers and flowers. I could imagine myself in your poem. I was a beautiful poem.
