Steve Ely and Kim Moore join Marsden poets for Cuckoo festival jam

Two leading poets will be reading at Marsden’s famous Railway Inn, home of the legendary Write Out Loud poetry jam, on Saturday 26 April as part of a Write Out Loud fringe event at the West Yorkshire village’s Cuckoo festival, which heralds the arrival of spring. Steve Ely, pictured, who was shortlisted for a Forward prize last year and for the Ted Hughes award this year, and Kim Moore, plus Michael Stewart and Michael Brown will join open micers at The Railway, where Write Out Loud stages an annual jam that draws poets from near and far during the Marsden jazz festival in October.
