The bright side of Elvis McGonagall, to be aired on Radio 4

entry picture

Stand-up poet, armchair revolutionary, comedian and broadcaster Elvis McGonagall takes to the airwaves on 30 April when the first episode of ‘Elvis McGonagall Takes A Look On The Bright Side’ goes out on BBC Radio 4 at 11pm. With the help of his dog, Trouble, his friend the postie (Susan Morrison) and his own private narrator (Clarke Peters) the Scottish punk poet does his very best to accentuate the positive. Episode 1, ‘A Dog’s Dinner’, is recorded almost entirely on location in a caravan on a truly glamorous industrial estate somewhere in Scotland.
