Armitage, Hegley and Wright lead star line-up at Wenlock

Simon Armitage, John Hegley, Daljit Nagra, Frieda Hughes, Luke Wright, Elaine Feinstein, Glyn Maxwell and David Morley are just some of the star names at Wenlock poetry festival, in the Shropshire town of Much Wenlock from 25-27 April. But there’s much more to the festival as well, including workshops with top poets, a session with poets from the Wordsworth Trust, open pic sessions of poems and pints with Mark Niel, Shropshire Young Poets, a Saturday night slam, West Midlands young poet laureates, readings from Grey Hen Press, Nine Arches Press and Waterloo Press, winners from the last 13 years of Foyle Young Poets, and poetry from the Lowlands, with three leading Dutch poets.
