Words and music: Carol Ann Duffy at Wakefield literary festival

Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy will be performing with musician John Sampson at Wakefield’s Merchant Gate from 6-7.30pm on Thursday 26 September in one of the poetic highlights of Wakefield literary festival, on until 30 September. Other poets featuring on the festival bill are this year’s Glastonbury poet in residence Kate Fox, Dominic Berry, and John Cooper Clarke.
