If God is a judge

Does he make a decision

Refusing to budge on any omission.

Or, does he readily, occassionally say

I fucked up there

On coping a plea or well aimed prayer.

 

And how does one appeal the almighty seal

To a tribunal, following a funeral?

The father son and Holy Ghost

Is it by email or sent in the post

 

What are the rules

For humans and laymen

Do you need a barrister, pope or a shaman

 

Whats the distinction between lawyers and priests

And if you get it wrong does it end in extinction

expelled or deceased

 

Perhaps its better to go with the flow

Not to question, never to know

Wait for his judgement on that faithful day

But then there's the propblem of how you will pay.

 

So lets hope the gaffer hides all his bloomers

And punishes bankers more than consumers
