These lines were inspired by a press photo from New York some years ago.   The wording

quoted and the image referred to are 100% correct.   I love its unintentional black humour.

The funniest photo I can recall

Was taken after a gangster's fall;

A Mafia Don got HIS one-liner

When shot to death in an Italian diner.

The NYPD was there (you betcha!)

To carry the Don out on a stretcher,

And as they passed the camera's eye,

Into view came a message on high.

The restaurant sign above the door

Had this offer that I saw -

A generous mention

Within its borders...

"WE GIVE SPECIAL ATTENTION

TO OUTGOING ORDERS".
