When we walk together we will find
distance never enters our joint mind
for only love will take the path
while we smile and kiss and laugh...
And if we share forty years or one,
know that my love you can depend upon,
while I breathe it will be for you alone,
always hoping to share in our one home...
Warmth floods into my chest whenever I see
your sweet pictures here in front of me,
and though I am but a poor poet now,
I will love you in all the rich ways that I know how...
Until the day comes when we can be joined,
I try to find new lines that can be coined,
to express all the many ways we may play,
as lovers who will share both night and day...
