Pianos Laugh For Dead Elephants

Pianos laugh

in this

sneaky jazz ritual.

Death in a good way they cry

total annihilatory

and beautiful

with little gift rhythms.

Pianos grin

with

smug unexpectancy,

they grope first

the notes

and

somehow

they are more impressive

than the instrument itself.

Pianos laugh

a borrow of turmoil and closure

for lesser times

in a

perfect destructive creation.

But

pianos laugh especially

for their humorous lost skeletons

they laugh

for dead elephants.

Great stuff, Kealan, really enjoyed this.
The ivory trade is just one of my standpoints, the cruelty to animals in this world appalls me. I did at first wonder if pianos should be crying for dead elephants, until I read this and I really like the whole structure.
