Round and Round

up and Down

children’s shoes

lost then found

Laughing Clowns

cuddly bears

bingo halls

shaky stairs.

Sticky toffee

Ice on a stick

fizzy pop

gonna be sick.

Merry go rounds

roller coasters

people popping

human toasters.

Donkey rides

sandcastles at the shore

grandpa’s and grannies

bunions sore!

Café’s and trinkets

chips in a cone

pigeon poop

Wanna go home.

Heading back

along the mile

Me, Nana and sister

single file.

Memories rise

from my page once more

alive, excited

what’s next in store...

Loved this!,especially the "human toasters" bit and the memories it stirs!

Hi Belinda, really enjoyed this, very punchy and good fun! I wrote one called the Funfair (posted 7 June), similar theme but very different structure, takes you back to your childhood! Hope you're okay over there! Jeff X
