I've used lulu myself and i've not sold tons through it.. most of mine has been sold through gigs i must admi trying to get in with publishers is very, very hard - most publishers won't take on somebody without a name in magazines and publishing or on the performance circuit - neither of which are easy.

good luck.

I can tell you that you would be lucky to sell many through amazon. Even when you don't self publish, if you're not a well known author, the only way they tend to sell is through people you know and going up to people at gigs you have read at and doing the hard sell on them. Most who buy through that channel probably won't read it. Print is sort of dying. You can speak to a local bar owner who has a performance space and do a book launch there and invite all your facebook friends.

You could also try smashwords.com, another self-publishing platform.

Hi Lee,

You could try here:

http://www.lulu.com/

- lots of other people seem to. Don't know much about it, so I can't recommend or rubbish, but I've never heard of any problems.

Good luck,

Regards,
A.E.
