SANTA'S SATNAV

Here's a bit of fun as we approach the Christmas month - some sympathy for all those Mums &

Dads left behind by their technically-savvy kids!  All credit to Pete Dymond and Marcie Summers

(who does a great job as "the kids" on the audio).

........................................................................................................................................................

We get these questions from our kids, they won't leave us alone

When they jump out of bed on Christmas Day

Each time they ask their Mum and Dad, we try hard not to groan!

Does Santa have a SatNav on his sleigh?

Every year he comes around with gifts to bring us joy

And every year he always finds his way

Leaving lots of presents for lucky girl and boy

Does Santa have a SatNav on his sleigh?

Is Santa's Grotto computerised and not some pantomime?

Are all our Christmas letters on hard disc -

So they can be downloaded by his helpers in good time

To make sure no one's address will be missed?

Maybe when they're older and know more than they do now

They'll grow enough and know enough not to groan

If their own kids should ask them - Dear Daddy (Mummy) tell us how

Does Santa find his way out there alone?

Does he have an onboard screen to help him map the stars

So he can get around without delay -

Or does he track the headlights of all the homebound cars

Does Santa have a SatNav on his sleigh?

Is Santa's Grotto computerised and not some pantomime?

Are all our Christmas letters on hard disc -

So they can be downloaded by his helpers in good time

To make sure no one's address will be missed?

But for now they still left thinking "What a job the old boy's got"

When they jump out of bed on Christmas Day

And I hope for many Christmases, they'll be asking like as not

Does Santa have a SatNav on his sleigh?

Does Santa have a SatNav on his sleigh?

But from what I hear, they wouldn't play it on
the radio if he sang it. You just can't win, can you?! :-)

Move over, Sir Cliff. This is the Christmas No 1 for sure.
