SKIRMISH TUFF

After a varied night out where I met varied people including a Welsh Goth in Satan’s hollow, I returned home. Loaded up with 8 pints of beer and kebab and chips, I did the half an hour two mile walk home from trouble filled Oldham. Don’t want any kicking off at 3:30am. Making my way past the park, it happened. I saw 4 Asians walking down the middle of the road. I finished my text to my pal and put my phone away. No way are they stealing it!

They spot me, 1 asks for a light from a distance. We get closer and I say I don't smoke. The Pakistani lad nearest me goes for me and hits me on the jaw. His 3 pals are in the road, no way must I let them corner me. I brushed his punch off, he walked up and threw his single punch catching me on my left jaw side, he hit like a girl. I ran off and became racist in what I said to them after 1 assaulted me. I rest easy knowing I got my own back with my words, my weapon, pissing the four of them off.

In the darkness we didn't a clear glimpse of 1 another. If I see him again I’ll hurt him and have my revenge on his skinny Asian curry munching face. Cos he could have had a knife or all 4 could have jumped me. They could have killed me, simple as that.I do this poem and say it as it is. Nick could have been dead...

WELSH CLUB

I went out to celebrate my birthday being 40, no inhibitions. 4 cans of beer before me and my mate go to the pubs and Satan’s Hollow Goth club. Dancing round and around to good songs full of beer. I met my mirror image, it started like this: her blond pal said she’s drunk. I went your mate’s even worse! No, she’s registered blind! Really? Sorry I said, Nick did it again!

Later... Blond gal sez her friend is nice. I never looked back. Arm in arm, holding her close like there’s no tomorrow. For me later, there almost wasn’t when I ran into Asian trouble on that my night, while on my way home. That’s added to remonstrating with a big gal who sez my pal is harassing her friend. They text and have been on two dates I go?

Dion was my main night event; her kisses healed my wounded soul and fixed my ruined life. My pagan Goddess brought me my lady who will save me from my dark self and my hateful murder town. What will those who know me say when they know I have Ffion? Not Dion. Some will be happy, others hate. Our enemies can go to Hell.

Before we parted, I gave Ffion my green man symbol. No she goes. Get me a beer when you show me your country. I pray soon and that fate doesn’t steal you from me or let my enemies take me from you by my death. Did I really say I want you as my Pagan Bride? I mean every word. Blessed be Dear Ffion. Till we join hearts again.

SKIRMISH TAME

After a varied night out where I met varied people from tattooed people to gothic folk, I returned home. Loaded up with 8 pints of beer and kebab and chips, I did the half an hour two mile walk home from trouble filled town. Don't want any kicking off at 3:30am on the main street where the wanna be men go.

Making my way past the park, it happened. I saw 4 lads walking down the middle of the road. I finished my text to my pal and put my phone away. No way are they stealing it! They spot me, 1 asks for a light from a distance. We get closer and I say I don't smoke. The one lad nearest me goes for me and hits me on the jaw. I brushed his punch off, he hits like a girl. His 3 pals are in the road, no way must I let them corner me.

I legged it and became insolent in what I said to them after 1 assaulted me. I rest easy knowing I got my own back with my words, my weapon, pissing the four of them off. In the darkness we didn't a clear glimpse of 1 another. If I see him again I'll hurt him and have my revenge on his skinny little wanker who dares fuck with me. Cos he could have had a knife or all 4 could have jumped me so I was lucky but I'm faster and wiser than some local fucking punks. I do this poem and say it as it is. Screw them.
