alcohol

misbehave
With the bottom of the bottle
and drink my last drop
as I sleep
You crave and creep for
a quick little fix of it
just one last hit of it
one last quivering fit of it
last drink doctors orders
whole world mad
im doing fine fuck off
marauders of fun
im cooking up for number one
with diamond white blast
or smirnoff run
of the mill
im selfish
so leave me alone with it....
doin fine with it........
but
Look at your skin!
face turned, blue grin,
teeth tannin, smoke chin,
Through alcohol.
a withering mess.
Clothes are rags
Through alcohol
You’re testing my patience, through alcohol
Holding you tight,
Through alcohol
cant tolerate tonight, im your last loves
delight, patience is thin
need a stiff drink,
Don’t drag me in,
To your alcohol life.
angry at stores,
vending alcohol
angry at bars,
dishing alcohol
I’m angry with you
swishing it round
Bottom of the glass
drunk cars, compound,
he found an alphabet.
Your hands are shaky,
hair a mess,
clothes ain’t be washed,
lager on your breath,
Each day a test
For alcohol.
Each day you dissolve,
In alcohol.
And in alcohol we trust
In alcohol, social drug,
Busts us all open.
So much on display
This alcohol
Row and row of bottled decay
alcohol
Piles stacked high,
Vodka bottle,
Never run dry ,
From alcohol.
Sick like a fly
Regurgitate
Celebrate
Drown in it
Choke on sick
Spew it up, the ring piece
lick the floor,
Kick the government
more
Question the world and the law
But most of all
Be absurd.
Swear
Laugh
Abuse
Misuse
Expect sympathy,
tragically choose,
a dying rose
stutters replace once perfect prose,
Rags replace Versaces clothes
those highs
those lows,
an annoying fucker
stuck in the throws
Of alcohol
old as time itself
nature makes it, ok?
with,
Apes, drunk on cider apples,
Gin lane wives, children grapple,
Prohibition a hassle,
still prevails
The alcohol justification
DTs, trembling
Samaritan’s resembling
A hotline for AA
gave in, gave way
small bottle day
Glass or plastic
White or Brown paper bags on breeze sway
he don’t mind
Staggering
flat on his arse behind
As long as we swig, we find
the way out
A way to numb  pain
And in sincerity comes a grain
of A drunken moment
of Rock and roll
yes its glamour laugh with him
or at him fool
Its alcohol
dole, he drools
Methyl bottle, chemical you know
Methylated spirit, alcohol
Ether is alcohol,
You know.
still
I can’t reach you
Thru alcohol
I hate you in alcohol
I slate you in alcohol
You’re a dick in alcohol
You’re snide in alcohol
You steal in alcohol
You stagger
And laugh
Noisy, You stick your neck out giraffe!
You drink them down full carafes!
You’re madcap laughs!

Of wine
Whisky.

24hr chime
whisky.

Tennessee
Whisky.

in the jar

gone too far
whisky.

whisky.

Romeo whisky
cops called in whisky

named your dog whisky

down so briskly

alcohol’s in whisky

livers risky

whisky!

you mess
did your best
liver protests
against a
family’s wrecked
over alcohol
was it a test
this alcohol?
you jigger
you  ‘swigger’
you stuck your arm ,
out rigger!!!
you totally tame ’tigger’
you jet black skinny figure
eyes sunk
too drunk to talk
too starboard, to port
pissed up slurry retort

drunk

You cover it all quite well here I think...
Very sad when you've seen or have been touched by someone who is affected by alcoholism...

"named your dog whisky" made me laugh out loud, Perfect bit of cruel comic timing there Mr Peter.

Got me some funny looks at work, mind.

Yep! Everythin's in there!
The true "voice" of alcohol!!
( and its effects on people the world over.)

Great Pete, the range of emotions are far too many to mention.
Thanks for your comments, they're more than welcome. Janet.xx
