a curly confection

Yes Ray - not all Lowry characters were matchstick men and match stalk cats and dogs :-)

This is nice, Janet - a curly confection.And a Lowry character is almost a lowly character.
Look at you! Spare, enigmatic, well-turned diction, a go-where-you-will-I -don't-give-a-damn attitude. New woman arriving here, for sure.

Yup - I really like this too. Curly confection - fab :) Feels strange but kinda nice to write shorter stuff, doesn't it?
