Forms

entry picture

These forms of yours take me inside myself

To read deeper into the entity

Stepping outside the threshold of consciousness

Living each moment in the arms of your mind

Believing in love

Resting on a whim

Gliding towards peace

I am less myself

And more of you

Our hearts re-shape

As we are forced into singularity

Breathing in time

Whispering joys

Turning in the wind

All nature’s gifts seem closer to the touch

Fractals merge in our eyes

And the Golden Ratio

Turns pages in the book of dreams

As the glacier melts and loses density

We remain excellent and perfect

Forming to the shape of ecstasy

But dear lover heed

And make a mental picture now

For it may not be long before

We too slip gracefully away

With the debris of life’s imperfections

Yet the physical shame of negative actions

Can never erase the beauty we see here now

And if no one were to witness this awesome happening

It is done and will forever be……

Ally,

I am a fan of your poetry as well, and I love the haunting touch of each word, poetic and beautiful. I especially love the first paragraph that pulled me in and kept me flowing word over word.

Hi Alison, this poem is hauntingly beautiful.

I'd like to have met your friend. Sounds like we would have been soulmates. Perhaps we are, in these days of "all things are possible."

Thankyou. Janet.
