What's He Doing There???

Who's that just pulled up outside my house?

I don't recognise him.

Perhaps he's going next door

but why pull up outside my house?

There's plenty of room further along.

He's not getting out, he's just sitting there.

Must be waiting for someone to come out.

No-one's coming out though.

He's just sitting there.

Why is he just sitting there?

No-one's coming out.

How long has he been there now? Five minutes?

I've had enough of this.

It's starting to annoy me now.

What's he doing there?

Hold on, he's driving away. He's gone.

Did you take his number? No.

What the hell was that all about?

I'm guessing he was lost.

I think you have touched a nerve here, RG. We sometimes have cars or vans stopping outside here. We try to ignore them and get on with things, but we keep going back to see if they're still there!

Hi Reggie

What I like about this is that I am far more interested in the home owner and the stereotype that enters my head than I am in the unknown man in the car.

It is a very simple little piece that I suspect most of us can Idenfify with.

I have to say being the man in the car is awkward.

He’s been here too.
