I HAD A DREAM
I had a dream
About my team
I dreamt we'd won
It was such fun
We'd beaten Man United
In the Final game
In sleep I was delighted
“Champions” our name
But then when I awoken
I thought this sweet and pleasant reverie
And magic spell was broken
And it was just seductive fantasy
Then I woke up
We'd won the Cup.
We've suffered years
Of pain and tears
But now at last
That's in the past;
We'd beaten the Red Devils
With Brennan's only goal
Which started Sonny's revels
And Richi's rock-n-roll
We'd had them at our mercy
And kept a grip upon our one goal lead
So now we're not so Spursy
And from this heavy tag at last we're freed;
When I woke up
We'd won the Cup.
The game was dire
Played drearily
I'd be a liar
To disagree;
You might have thought it brain pain
I couldn't give a toss
I simply see that our gain
Was Man United's loss
The fans were celebrating
Dancing, singing in Bilbao's stands
Impatiently they're waiting
To see the Cup held high in Sonny's hands
When I woke up
We'd won the Cup.

Indeed, Stephen. It’s not like synchronised swimming and other “judged” sports, where the prettiest wins. It depends on you knocking the ball in the net.
I headed South and got as far as Barnsley.
