A wonder of the world

Not the opium of the people

but can be addictive 

none the less 

 

In many a crisis it is used

In hospitals or prisons

Suitable from the very young

to those growing old or wizened 

 

It’s suggested if we’re feeling down

angry or depressed 

The properties that it contains 

Separate it from the rest

 

Used across the globe

by billions of people you see

Yes there’s nothing quite like it...
