Just Smile!

I smiled at my Mother, who smiled at my Brother

Who smiled at another, then they, at another

Soon, there were smiles for miles & miles

A sunshine array of varying styles

Some so faint, you could hardly see

Some so big, as big as me!

Some were crooked, some were bent

Some, it seemed, were heaven sent!

Some were full, some were thin

Some, unsure if they were merely a grin!

But, a little girl's smile, was upside down

Something, I hear, is called a frown?

So we gave her a hug, & in a short while

The frown, upside down, turned into a smile!

Then all of us giggled - ‘cause giggling's good too!

It can make you feel happy, when you're feeling too blue

And, remember: A smile cost nothing at all

But, can make someone feel ten feet tall

So when life, as it does, starts getting you down

Give yourself hope, with an upside down frown ☹️🙂

Thanks Uilleam, & absolutely! As Graham says smiles are free, in fact I've added it into the poem, so thanks Graham! 👍

Love it Stephen.
Let's smile for those poor souls who can't.

Considering they are free! It’s a wonder there aren’t more about. Lovely idea Stephen 😎
