PAY AS YOU GO

Words were spinning in my head

Voices opinions the lot

By the time I'd figured what to say

I'd already forgot

The ice was spinning round the glass

Dissolving into the gin

Internally planning this move until I could no longer keep it in

A text I'd been wanting to send for a while

I'd write it and then I'd delete it

I changed it like a million times

Erased and then I'd repeat it

Over thinking room spinning

You guessed it

I text it

Did I send it?

Nar i couldn't  .no credit

I Just left it

I can resonate with this poem, Sarah. Well written and constructed.
Thank you.

“I’d already forgot”. It only gets worse, Sarah Louise.
