A Nocturnal Holocaust

A Nocturnal Holocaust

A rumbling sound.

a wave encroached,

up the river.

Winged alphabetic lights

of angels in ascent,

probed the night.

Stars dimned.

A piano played,

foreboding chaos.

Havoc to despair

detonation

a thud and more.

A summer's breeze

as cordite broke

the flight above.

Swans cowered

a dog bayed

toys clutched,

faces lost.

Wailing sirens cried,

a constant breeze,

now a sneeze

one night in as many

days

Highly descriptive and the chaos crisp at it's imagery. The foreboding events been described at it's best.
