Darkness ran behind her 

Trying to nab her in 

She kept escaping 

Hiding behind sun 

He with all his might 

Tried to steal her light 

Faster he ran after her 

More farther she went from him 

His darkness slowly enveloped him 

His dark thoughts and multiple depths 

All kept pulling him deeper within 

She was born of optimism

And had a craving for sunshine 

Off beyond those dusky clouds 

She fly with wings spread wide 

Untill she became light herself 

Now he stares empty mind towards her 

Unable to look at her too long 

From utter pitch dark world where he lives 

Light is only a dream for him 

He thought he would steal it 

He even tried murdering her 

Keeping her body alongside to fulfill his madness 

But she was enveloped with divine rays 

Such that he can only desire but can never have 

So he settled for a flickering dimness of convenience

Although he loves that dim flicker 

But the brightness that she enthused 

He could never get from dim lover of convenience

Nor from the ugly darkness that was always with him 

She is on her journey towards light like hers 

And always brightening the world for worshippers 

Her holy chants and verses emits divine brightness 

For she is and will always be for the one of her kind 

An exemplary light that twins shall shine till eternity
