MY LONDON - SEPTEMBER 2022

In all the world there's nowhere quite

Like London in her mournful plight

As history tearfully turns the page

To close our Elizabeth's golden Age

While all around the very air

Resonates with time - as if aware

That this great city sets the scene

For the farewell to a much loved Queen.

So much history...so much done,

So much lost...yet so much won.

Sad at the beginning, but with some hope at the end. An epoch really has ended.
