I'm thankful to everyone 

Who came in my life as a blessing 

Some went away, many stayed 

Those who are gone far away 

You'll always be in prayers 

Those that are still with me 

I'm perpetually blessed by your stay 

 

I'm thankful to God almighty 

To remove people from my life 

Those that came as a curse 

Leaving behind ugly scars 

Butter memories of stinking days 

May God remove their stink forever 

And may never let them ever in my way 

 

I'm thankful to my friends 

Who were constant support 

Their prayers were enough for me 

Motivating me to go on patiently 

With every wrong rub that enemies gave 

But my friends were loyal and helped me save 

 

I'm thankful to myself 

For staying strong throughout 

Having faced every storm boldly 

Tending the scars with care 

And always found a reason 

To keep the faith in God 

And going on steadily everyday 

 

I'm thankful for the closed doors 

For now I realise they weren't good 

Those doors led to paths astray 

Which could have ruined me 

And I would have lost everything

In both the worlds 

 

I'm thankful for the open doors 

This is the door I was waiting for 

Prayers for which I made everyday

Now I can smell from there fresh air 

My freedom to safer shores 

With people of faith and purity 

Now we are ready to embark 

Our ship of destiny 

With God as our captain mighty 

 

I'm thankful to all the evil people 

Who tried to lure me with evilness 

Enticing me everything that was glamorous

But they took it all away with them 

The day they found their evil partner to stay 

And left me here in the sunshine and laughter 

To stay with my God, my master of goodness indeed
