It didn't happen over night

Every good thing takes time 

There's Term appointed by God 

Then there's decline 

Everything is cyclical 

Sorrows end when there's happiness 

Ignorance ends with knowledge attained 

Darkness is eliminated with light 

Sunset gives way to sunrise 

 

Nothing happens overnight 

It took me decades after decades 

To be me, who I am today 

A lot of patience, tolerance, Sacrificing 

More than these patient perseverance

And continuously working in right direction

It took heart breaks, pain, sadness, worries 

To create a beauty within me 

Chiseling harder every day

A precious diamond curated 

 

It takes time for everything to happen

It won't ever happen overnight 

Just keep walking 

Never giving up 

Don't ever let go 

It's all there within reach 

All It takes is unshakeable belief 

So let it shine when it does

Let it be admired when it brims up
