Donations are essential to keep Write Out Loud going

What's meant to be will chase you till you receive

Glass cracks open the images fall

Commitments once made now lay on shore

Like the beads of broken necklace

Promises fall off the neck onto the floor

Spreading all over the places, difficult to retrieve

Few go missing under couches and sheets

What once was a mighty ship to steer

A relationship one sided affair

Released at last by the final call of twist

Declaring giving up the rescue situation

Leaving things as they are bare and raw

The strings are released at both ends to see

To each their freedom, now they can can freely breathe

Nothing of any temporary bond to cast or seal

Freedom at last I do perceive from situation unseen

What never was there to be called mine, an image beneath

Spreading the wings of freedom, I fly to yonder point

Dreams That I've been chasing, are mine to fulfill

With God as my hero, my permanent guide to keep

Into a new life, we both indulge and feast

Captivity and bondage, slavery isn't my cup of tea

Forgiving everyone who ever did any mean thing to me

Their actions and words have only pushed me to be

A stronger, powerful, divine version that God wanted me

All the evil forces that thought of destroying, were actually building me

Giving me wings, freedom, strength and divine powers to keep

All's well that ends well, saying has meaning deep

Although the negative forces tried their worst plots

With a twist, now miracles of God chasing me

Envelopes me in divine care, mercy and incessant blessings

This is divine will and this is how "it was Meant to be" for me.
