December 2021 Collage Poem: Chariot of Obscurity

entry picture

The exact translation for the exact word for snow.

The winter night was the start of a new fake world,

with the death of truth and lost poets caught in the deep wild minds of hope.

How can butterflies and mirrors and snow be possible while hearts are breaking?

I thought of howl and the shadow of gunman sinister betrayal.

It was a dusky farewell

A monarch butterfly landed on Boris’s nose thinking crowned he combusted in a shower of sparks.

Whirling winking syballes in the snow is all I have left when you just left me all on my own.

Seagulls of the nightclub did not let me sleep

Taking selfies with Boris rustling his guilt at the office party with cheese and chips.

The month ends
yet another year
with mixed emotions
do we keep zoom
on stand by
while meeting up
if safe to do so ?
