Snowy Walk

entry picture

What a difference a day makes
Storm Arwen has been and gone
Some folk are still without power
and there’s been much damage done

Today is calm, still and quiet
we walk in sprinkles of snow
Wrapped up in coats, hats and gloves
our chilly faces aglow

The country lanes slowly turn white
icy puddles in deep freeze
We see the devastating sights
of many taken down trees

We return to our home
make shallow footprints as we go
How lucky we were today
to enjoy a walk in the snow

Julie,
This poem makes me envious as we have not had any snow yet. Can you blow some our way.
Beautifully written with good rhyming.
Thank you for this
Keith
