A World Apart

With every trial, inquest and report.

One by one, all the liars were caught.

From top to bottom, rank after rank.

All walked free...their mates to thank.

We're not naive, we knew the score.

We were fighting more than the law.

So with eyes wide open, we took it on.

Bias and contempt faced from day one.

But we faced if all, with dignity intact.

We got the truth, unearthed each fact.

A convenient loophole, saved their day.

Topped with tired old lies, sent our way.

It's obvious Goldberg could hardly wait.

To spit out his lies, wrapped up in hate.

Him and his like, from us, a World apart.

That was so obvious, right from the start.

96 'unlawful deaths' but nobody to pay.

The stench of corruption, of rank decay.

If 96 cops died, would that be the case?

Certain jail time, guilty parties would face.
