It is a cold and dry spring morning
A heavy frost covers the ground
A beautiful, slow strutting pheasant
The only colour to be found
An arctic, icing sugar dusting
White glaze lingers on everything
The sun is bright in the hazy sky
As the wild birds begin to sing
