Snow on the moon
the weatherman spoke
white as a bar
of Ivory soap,
It's appearance appeals
helping us cope
our moodiness heals
in its white light of hope.


*February’s full moon is known as the Snow Moon, called that by Native American tribes in the northeastern United States because of the heavy snows that typically fall during February.
The Snow Moon is aptly named because February is on average the snowiest month of the year in the United States.
