Well done, Aviva. But don't stop now - more suggestions please.
I might have been a bit hasty because I've come up with some improvements myself.

Hehehe I've never read the original but now I feel impressed with myself that I came up with the same idea. LOL

Thankyou, Aviva. “B for Mutton” is a definite improvement on my suggestion and was the entry for B in the Sebastian Faulks list.
I’m just wading my way through the book now, Stephen. It takes some determination as it’s a series of chapters which leap backwards and forwards through time and generations.
There’s only 25, Kev, in the angels’ alphabet - No L.

Until I listened to your dulcet tones, John I was wondering what this was all about! Never heard of
Faulks's A Fool's alphabet, but I'm sure this one's much better. Clever & enjoyable ?

Some are long and some are short pronunciations eg P and p.
