By a golden sun or a star lit night,
I can surely let my dreams take flight,
And when looking at the stars above,
I may think of Cupid and of love.

And by pouring rain or roaring fires,
I think of what I've lost or my deep desires.
It gives me hope that there is a chance,
Such wonderful and sweet romance.
