David Clarke ,while walking his dog was tragically killed by a herd of cows

David Clarke died earlier this week on the outskirts of town,

Tragically walking his dog,by a herd of cows was mowed down.

David taught at  Richmond School in Yorkshire for 23 years,

The community are devastated, shedding numerous tears.

A brilliant deputy head and simply a lovely leader

Enriched the life of everyone a true good deeder.

An amazing devoted teacher full of fun,

Believed in every child ,supported everyone.

He gave his heart to his job and his school,

Inspired trust and respect , with fun and fair humour did rule.

Our hearts go out to  your family and friends,

You enriched the lives of soo many, but yours sadly ends.

R.I.P.

Just discovered another recent cow charging death.
"On Friday September the 11th a pensioner from Cumbria was tragically killed after being charged by a herd of cows."

Farmers need to put signs up in fields to alert walkers of the dangers.

A tragedy ,but a warning as well re the danger of walking through a field full of cows with a dog .Experienced this myself as a child walking through a field full of cows with a dog .Scary ! If you were chased let your dog off the lead.

How terrible, I was hoping this was one of your tales but tragically it is a true story. Too often we hear stories like this, very frightening. I hope his family and friends read your tribute.
