Two teenagers acted in a manner difficult to comprehend,

High on drink and drugs, brought the life of a hard working family man to an end.

Murdered with a sword in a senseless and barbaric attack,

While investigating a gathering of youths at his factory back.

 

Hacked to death with more than  a hundred  blows,

Taking turns to stab,slash and chop in frenzied flows.

How and earth have we come to this and why ?

A loving husband only doing his duty,tragically did die.

 

They even tried to decapitate his head,

As he lay there already dead.

The ten minute attack stopped when the police arrived,

A family's  future with a husband and dad ,deprived.

 

Our thoughts are with his family facing distress,

Embalming the situation with love to soothe the stress.

Soul destroying to discover a man killed just doing his job,

Leaving a family and its community , sadly distressed to sob.
