As I plough on through my 8th decade it seems to be that the various "isms" that have obtained currency in 

the latter decades of my lifetime are based in nebulous notions, the foremost of which is that of "equality".

I dare anyone to define that single word in any way that is recognisabe, or achievable in life.

It has certainly never been known on any continent, in any country or any culture in the course of human history.

I maintain that the nearest reality to it is "opportunity" to achieve and obtain what is humanly possible

within the parameters of our own abilities and gifts - and to be satisfied that these have been tried and .  

tested according to our personal hopes and ambitions.  We may not, of course, succeed but who said

life was perfect and that there is some sort of "right" to gain what we wish for? 

Today sees a premise of entitlement that persuades the terminally discontented and disaffected seeking

to invest their lives with notions of entitlement on grounds of  "equality" when the term has no reality. 

I'm sure I could list any number of aspects of, and rewards in life to which I could claim I'm "entitled" but 

reaity is an ongoing control factor of life - and that's a fact..

So...come on...you prophets of the various "isms" that are based in "equality" - cite the ways and means

by which you say it can be adjusted so that your nebulous notions may be achieved.  Simple words

setting out the infallible process will be acceptable to my personal somewhat restricted intellect.

I can write and comprehend to a certain level but quite understand that my own abilities might not

have been up to the demands of Bletchley Park.  How then to achieve  any semblance of equality there?.

And so on and so forth ad infinitum.  

Right-o...off you go.....but keep it simple please...in line with your own attitudes and beliefs.
