Meeting in Solitude

Minds meeting
words spoken
stories shared
world is hushed
but inside we are all screaming
waiting for the tomorrows
when our meetings will be filled with embraces,
with kisses,
with reading a silent stare
and we will know what they mean
not just from a frozen screen
but for a reflection of all time

We are all waiting for the tomorrows
we will no longer meet in solitude
but a meeting of gathering
of friends, of family
of warm embraces
and longing kisses

Well put, Mika, insightful, short and strong.

We are waiting for a month with no new cases Mika. Only three to go, fingers crossed. I am starting to see a slight reddening on the horizon. Just joking. I'm fast asleep in bed at that time.

Thanks, Don & Moon.girl for responding to this poem. I hope you are both doing as well as can be during this trying time. If only those promised tomorrows could come sooner.

I'm waiting for tomorrow
Will it ever come?
Where's your science background
Dark precedes the sun

Nice poem Mika...yours
