Natures healing powers

I wondered aimlessly

along the meandering lane

far away from civilization

to empty my mind

of all things coronavirus

Then without any warning

my eyes feasted upon

a vast sea of grass

gilded with hundreds of dandelions

swaying in perfect harmony in a field

The masses of dandelions

were gazing admiringly at the blue skies

and were showered with

the benevolent sun's kisses

they were filled with joy

I was spell bound by the golden dandelions  beauty and was wrapped in nature's comforting arms

when I heard the dandelions whispering to remind me that regardless of coronavirus

life goes on

I returned back to civilization touched by the healing powers of the dandelions

And started breathing again.

◄ Life long friendship

Prayer for the safety of the old man ►

Po

Doesn't the saying go something like "one person's weed is another person's flower"?

Give me a dandelion and burdock any day to quench my thirst for nature.

Abdul,

After the anguish of Brexit and this accursed virus you take us out to where neither of these problems bears any significance into a landscape of natural charm which transports us into a new world of renewal. A poem of hope.

Thank you for this,

Keith
