Biography

I'm in my final year in college, write to express love sadness any emotion I feel to be exact and life issues

Samples

She was the breath of fresh air I craved Stunned beyond words could describe How she could change the radiant sun That glazed her skin a dark ebony And make it a cool sweet air over me Her stare though stern hides that smile With teeth so white snow would cream African in all glory with skirt in print Showing those legs that trip my heart With little hairs that stand in the wind Carrying that frame that paralyzes A man in his strides for her hand Hopefully her eyes would guide my way to her heart.

Welcome to WOL, Allan. You definitely have flair, a sympathy with words and exactness of detail that creates fine imagery. Your sample poem is also strong and emotive. I look forward to more.

Work 'flair' with 'care'.
Be prepared to 'share' only your best
And your poems will 'wear' well!

I'm just being silly. It's the lure of our English language to mess around with words that have the same sound through so many different spellings. But it is good advice.

Cynthia
