BLINDNESS IS A VIRTUE

ITS IN THE EYES OF EVERYONE YOU MEET

IN THE BUILDINGS AND OUT THERE ON THE STREETS

IN THIS FLOWER CALLED MANKIND THAT CHOOSES TO BE BLIND

AND THINKS SILENCE IS A VIRTUE NOT RETREAT

FROM THE HIGHWAYS OF THE LONELY TO WHERE WE CAN BE FOUND

FROM THE TEMPLES OF CREATION WERE WE ALL GET PASSED AROUND

BLINDNESS IS A VIRTUE THAT IS SO UNSOUND

A SUNSET AXE LAID INTO A HATCHETED HEART

A GLANCE UP AT THE BOMBER

NO EYES, BUT NUT COLOURED HAIR

STRETCHING  FOR MILES AND MILES

SHE NEVER HAD TOYS

AND HAS FORGOTT...

TO DEFEND THOSE, WHO CANNOT DEFEND THEMSELVES

Awhile ago I was watching tv, knights of the round table and such. The following day as I was

driving this idea was going round in my head , later when Id stopped I started to write down some

lines, I just intended for it to be a poem or even a song of a few verses. The problem then started

that the more I wrote the more idea's came, so what started out as a standard piece has now
