THE RESTLESS THRONG
strange fact that the restless throng
are mostly going somewhere or
coming from it on the way to wherever
they don't belong
just because they can and is that crazy?
we suppose it ain't
but don't let's think too much about it otherwise
a minute's silence or a modicum of self - restraint
might ensue
to replace the lunacy of something pointless to do.
