Achlys
I have no need for sleep,
no more than you have a need for me.
no more than the wind blows,
I feel lost in your web.
I do not sleep,
simply because my dreams.
In my dreams you appear night after night,
and night after night brings me to your face.
I wish I could feel your warm embrace once more.
I wish I could hold your hand and not feel numb.
I miss the me you once...

KARM
You kiss my lips,
I've drowned in your sea many times.
The endless waves of us,
Strong and steady.
I feel your heart as I wonder,
Is it the drugs?
Or my love of your song,
The song of the sea or the song your eyes sing when they look into mine.
I often wonder,
Is it you that makes my heart beat as fast as the wind on a fall morning,
or is it simply the thought of you...

A sad poem
A drag to numb the pain,
A thought to kill the brain,
All the same.
A shot to fill the liver,
A broken adult was once a happy child.
A child with stars in their eyes,
A adult with drugs and liquor in their veins.
All the same to me,
Just different ways to numb the pain.
