Sour

eating sour candy is like

a roller coaster;

the drop into the mouth is the ride up.

the bite is the culmination,

the chew is the fall

down,

down.

swallow and it's over,

but the thrill remains

a pulsing beat

in your stomach, in your throat

a trip to New York

He wears a beige skirt and fedora hat

He has a dog, his dog Lily,

Plays off leash-

Three year old, a rescue

Splashing swashing dashing

Purling dribbling running bubbling.

A tremendous Great Danes, black and soft

Majestic, black beauty

Your adulated company

It might be worth a shot

You're usually so uppity

Tonight you're all I got

May be it's worth a shot

The crows commence to caw

Tonight, they're all I've got

Look there- that one's a daw

The crows ...
