Sonnet for Dread

It seemed all okay

I really was fine

In the light of day

I was sane in mind

And up came the night

Now I was all wrong

If I had been right

I might have felt strong

Scattered now my mind is

It disallows my sleep

My head, I cannot stop it

The thoughts, they just repeat

My words always at bay

Myself with a thin spine

The skies, they're looking gray

Are these signs of the times?

By dint of my unsteadiness

I bid you fair adieu

In lieu of all the bitterness

I have a lot to do.

Thanks duly,

Yours truly

Listen to a chant. The drone will help you sleep. Or sign up for a paid course. Guaranteed cure for insomnia, lol.
