Butterfly and owl the notes.
Natural music, soft, sensual
Likened to Pans’ pipes.
Enchanting, delighting
Moving us to...

Back To The Future

entry picture

Summer in the Sun, its festival time again

Jigging up and down and back by ten

The girls are going to hear some sounds

Bents Park, South Shields is the venue

With Mcfly, Little Mix and support on the menu

Abi's mum will be doing the driving rounds

Taking a trip down Memory Lane with colours in their hair

They know they are with friends that care

Song Against War
By : Ali Taha Alnobani
© 2011 by Ali Taha Alnobani

Just now became blood and pus
Noise and fuss
And...

Flash Mob

Flash Mob,

We're the greatest gangsters

since the Wild Wild West.

For what we do

we're the very best.

We're the Flash Mob,

We're the Flash Mob.

Back in Chi Town they were run by Capone

I prefer to make a racket with my Al CaBone.

Hipsters think the Flash Mob is all about Twitter

but just like Babe Ruth I'm a heavy hitter.

This is a stick up...

Soft Summer Reverie

entry picture
A small expression about being on the expanse of a windswept field, whatever the season, really, but placed in the golden, summery panorama in this poem. Please enjoy!

Amber reeds, pliant
in the summer wind
swaying, dancing-

synchronised
                     now syncopated
and back again

shouting then singing xanthine etudes
